Color Spinners

What are they?

The Color Spinner has a rotating arrow & a countdown clock, when the countdown reaches zero the Color Spinner will change the colors of the bubbles along the line that the arrow is pointing.

When will I first encounter them?

They are introduced in the Powder Peak region, level 174

When do they turn & how do they countdown?

They will turn & countdown with each shot. The countdown will vary, but generally will become succesively shorter the longer the Spinner remains on the screen.

What will get rid of a Color Spinner?

You can drop a Color Spinner or shoot it with a Coconut, Steel, Fire, Lightning,or Bomb bubbles. If you shoot it with a regular bubble, it will stick to the Spinner. If you shoot it with a Paint Bubble, unless you hit a surrounding bubble, nothing will happen.

Are they active when off-screen?

No, they must be within the visible screen to be active.

Is there any strategy I can use for Color Spinners?

Generally they are a low priority compared to other hazards, as the color changes are more uniform than other color changing hazards like Flower Blossoms , but if left too long become a problem with their shorter countdowns. It is best to avoid aiming shots near them when they are on a low 1 or 2 count as the results are unpredictable.unless your aim is precise.
